"Tax dollars should not be wasted on art, music or theater classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce. Period." Response
I personally think that the tax money spent on art, music, and theater shouldn't be considered a "waste" in this statement. Sometimes people really can make a career off of art and such. It also teaches students to be more creative in those types of classes. One thing I do agree about that statement is that, public high schools should be about being trained to be in the workforce. I think the education system should change up.
For many years, the education system teaches students the same thing they taught over 50 years ago. That way of teaching is dated and it should make a change. I think they should remove Algebra and replace it with a class that teaches you how to do your taxes or buy a house. It seems like no one uses geometry in the real world. I mean, what are you going to use Pythagorus' theorem for a job about fixing cars.
